The Muslim Council of Elders, under the leadership of His Eminence Professor Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, strongly condemns the car-ramming attack that occurred in the city of Munich, Germany, which resulted in injuries to several innocent individuals.
The Council unequivocally rejects such criminal acts and all forms of violence and terrorism that target innocent civilians and threaten peace and stability.
The Muslim Council of Elders expresses its solidarity with the Federal Republic of Germany—its government, people, and the families of those affected—and prays for the swift recovery of the injured.
