Muslim Council of Elders Strongly Condemns Iranian Aggressive Attacks on Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq

The Muslim Council of Elders, under the chairmanship of His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, strongly condemns the Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

The Council reaffirms its categorical rejection of such attacks against neighboring countries, the intimidation of innocent civilians, and the endangerment of civilian lives. It stresses that these acts run counter to the values of the true Islamic faith and shared human and moral principles. The Council further emphasizes that such attacks constitute a flagrant violation of international law and conventions, while posing a threat to the sovereignty, security, and stability of states and to the safety of citizens and residents alike.

The Muslim Council of Elders expresses its utmost solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Iraq, and the Kurdistan Regional Government.
