At the outset of the meeting, Judge Mohamed Abdelsalam expressed his profound appreciation\u2014and that of the Muslim Council of Elders\u2014for the efforts of His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. He commended President El-Sisi\u2019s unwavering stance in supporting the causes of the Muslim Ummah, particularly his honorable position on the Palestinian cause and his firm rejection of the forced displacement of the people of Gaza from their homes and homeland.
